New Year-Round Update process for parents to update family information online.

      1.  Parent/Guardian will log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

2.  Once in the portal, choose the appropriate student (changes will need to be done for each child listed in the account).

3.  Select InfoSnap Year Round Update on the left side under navigation.
  (This will take a    couple seconds to populate the information that is currently in PowerSchool.)
4.  Once the student information is populated, the parent/guardian is free to change the appropriate information such as primary mailing name, contact #, address, mother/father/guardian information, and emergency contact information.

Wisconsin Wednesdays!

 New this year, on the first Wednesday of every month, the school lunch menu will feature seasonal, Wisconsin grown ingredients. Starting on Wednesday, October 5 will be featuring Klement’s Cheddar Dog, Bush’s Baked Beans, Sunset Orchard Apples, and fresh produce on the salad bar from area farmers. Help support our local producers and enjoy a Wisconsin inspired lunch!

Greater Green Bay Chamber honors Six HSSD Teachers of Distinction

The Greater Green Bay Chamber announced the 2016 Golden Apple Teachers of Distinction today. Congratulations to HSSD’s Lisa Hanson (Suamico Elementary), Victoria LeFevre (Bay View Middle), Vicki Quinn (Bay Port IB English team), Amy Richards (Bay Port IB English team), Vonnie Voight (Howard Elementary), and Katie Williams (Lineville Intermediate). These six teachers will move on to the next level of the selection process and will be guests at the Golden Apple Awards April 20, 2016.  Click here

ATTENTION SENIORS!!! SCHOLARSHIP INFO

Seniors – Will you attend college in the fall? Are you concerned about how expensive tuition is? If so, you need to know about SCHOLARSHIPS, INC. – a local non-profit organization that awarded more than six hundred forty three thousand dollars to area students in 2015.
To be eligible, students must complete an online application, attend a fully accredited four year college/university or a technical college in the fall, and attend as a fulltime student taking 12 credits or more.
Find out more and fill out your online application by visiting www.scholarshipsinc.org. The application opens on December 22 and the deadline is April 7, 2016.

You can also access the Scholarships, Inc. application, along with many other scholarship applications, from your Family Connections account under the “colleges” tab, and then scroll to “scholarships & money” – “scholarship list”. Check the list often as new scholarships are added as we receive them.
