Please note the important dates and times of the upcoming state assessments that Bay Port students in grades 9, 10 & 11 will be taking part. These assessments and the accompanying details are provided below for your reference.

Tuesday, April 7 & Wednesday April 8th ACT Aspire-grades 9 & 10
On Tuesday, March 3rd all 11th grade students will
be participating in the ACT assessment.
All 11th grade students in the state of Wisconsin will
participate in this exam which is an assessment that assesses the areas of
english, math, reading, science and writing.
Please also note that in the event of
inclement weather which may cause a school delay or cancellation on the actual
assessment day, the make up day will be Tuesday, March 31st.

11th grade students only will report to school for
assessment day and be ready to take the assessment beginning at 8:00. Students
in grades 9, 10, & 12 will not report to school this day.
●
Busses will run on
regular schedule so students are encouraged to take the bus to be sure to
arrive at school in time to begin the assessment.
●
Assessment will end at
approximately 1:00 at which time students will be dismissed from school.
●
Lunch will be served this day to
those students who are not able to get transportation home until the regular
2:40 dismissal time-any students that need to wait for busses will be
supervised by school staff.
On Wednesday, April 1st, all 10th grade students
will participate in the WI Forward Assessment which is an online assessment in
the area of Social Studies. This
assessment will take place during Pirate Time and will not affect any other
part of the learning day.
Lastly, on Tuesday, April 7 & Wednesday, April 8th
all 9th and 10th grade students will participate in the ACT
Aspire which is an online assessment that assesses math, reading, language,
writing and science. This year we will
be assessing both grades over a 2 day period.
This assessment will take place from 7:30-10:40 each day.

Only 9th & 10th grade students
need to report during actual assessment times and be ready to take the
assessment beginning at 7:25. Classes for all students will begin at
11:30 on each assessment day (schedule below).

Busses will run on regular
schedule so students are encouraged to take the bus to be sure to arrive at
school in time to begin the assessment.
All students may take the bus these days however those students in
grades 11 & 12 will be required to stay in the commons during assessment
times.

Lunch will be served on assessment
days beginning at 10:40.
